The time frame for purchasing an extended warranty depends on the generator model:

• For liquid-cooled units, homeowners will have a timeframe of 1 yr. from the date of purchase to secure an extended warranty
• For air-cooled units (9 kW – 26 kW), home owners have until the end of their factory warranty period to secure an extended warranty from a dealer. The extended warranty is 5, 7, or 10 years total. It does not add to the existing warranty but replaces the current warranty.
