CMC is so easy to work with and so professional; I couldn't help but post a review. Every single time I've called for a quote, they have scheduled it swiftly. The work that has been performed has been superior. Their technicians have always been courteous, efficient, and made sure we were 100% happy prior to leaving. I can't say enough about their service. I needed an electrical inspection. Technician Martin Wall was assigned to my requirement and arrived promptly at the appointment time. He went about the inspection requirement thoroughly and promptly. He explained what he was going to do and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. My landscaper cut the electric line for my outside lights. I called CMC Electric, which is my go-to company, and they came the same day. Josh, who has been here before for other services, arrived and, as usual, was very understanding. He found the problem and fixed it immediately at a very reasonable price. Tim at CMC did an outstanding job with our bathroom remodel. He was able to come up with a solution where we thought we had an issue with vanity lighting. Very thorough yet quick, and excellent clean-up. Highly recommend.

We had a breaker that kept tripping. I called CMC, and they scheduled us right away. Jason came out, and had to do some troubleshooting, but was transparent regarding cost before he did anything. He found the issue, repaired it, and restored power to affected areas. He was professional, prompt, respectful, and friendly. I will definitely call them the next time I need an electrician!

The power went out in my master bedroom. CMC quickly contacted me back and sent a technician out. We quickly identified the cause as bad wiring in the outlet and had everything finished up in less than an hour after arriving!

I was very impressed with Martin. He was obviously very knowledgeable and did an excellent job for us. There were discoveries found during his thorough inspection that we had no idea of the problems that existed. Outdated smoke alarms and frayed insulation on the main power cable outside under our decking. I'm sure we will be using this company for future repairs and/or projects.

Install 18KW Generac home stand by generator with a 200 AMP automatic transfer switch. Installers where professional friendly and knowable. Took the time to explain what they where doing and went about their work. When they finished they cleaned up. They also told me if I had any questions to just call the office. I highly recommend CMC for any electrical needs.

Tim took an old pendant light down and hung a new fixture. He was friendly, polite, professional, and skilled. He arrived early and was actually finished by the time I had expected him to arrive! On the one had I was delighted with his service, but I amazed by high cost for a job that could be done so quickly. Still thrilled with end result..

Chase and Eric did an excellent job. I have experience getting generators installed at data centers which is a big job. Chase and Eric treated my install like I was their mom. I could not ask for a better team and they finished early. Awesome! Will be calling CMC for some other electrical needs, now that I have an example of their work.

They were professional and courteous, and took time to explain exactly what was needed and what it would cost. When they had completed the job, they provided a courtesy safety check and made recommendations about additional work that might be considered in the future. I would recommend CMC.

They are best in town. Reasonable pricing for the job. Initial estimate done for a fee. Scheduled a date and showed up on time. Two technicians did a wonderful job. My experience with another Raleigh based company was awful and very expensive. I will work with them in future projects.

I have been extremely satisfied with all the personnel from CMC electric. Very helpful, very knowledgeable staff. My wife and I had a generator installed and from Jason the tech to Linda in the office I can not give any more praise for our experience. I have been in the construction field for over 30 years and have never dealt with a company that would go so far to make sure you got the best service possible. Great service from estimate (Neal/Santa) to install! Chase and Eric (installers) were professional, and knowledgeable. They answered all our questions, coordinated with our utility company for shut down, and the county for inspection. We highly recommend CMC, and make sure you ask for Neal for the estimate and the A-Team of Chase and Eric for the install.

He showed up exactly when he said he would, very clearly communicated all of the work that needed to be done and went above and beyond to make sure the work was done correctly and safely. Martin was extremely informative for future remodeling projects and I would recommend anyone to him.

CMC and Jared were very professional. We knew when to expect Jared, were sent additional reminders/ETAs, and we also received both his background information and his image in advance of his arrival. He was informative, quiet and left no mess. You wouldn’t know the new switches and outlets weren’t original to the house. We will recommend them to anyone.

Great job by Chase, he was able to tighten down loose wires in our breaker panel that I thought were good originally! Since his visit, we haven't had any flickering lights across the house at all! CMC was super easy to deal with and rock solid in their communications with me, will definitely use them again in the future!
